Lionel Bart was one of the few British Musical Theatre authors to have conquered the World. The others include Ivor Novello, Noel Coward, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sandy Wilson and Julian Slade.

Although Lionel Bart was mostly known for his Masterwork OLIVER!, his genius and gift at writing tuneful, innovative and evocative scores shine through on his other not so well known Musicals such as BLITZ!, MAGGIE MAY and TWANG! Here is a collection of Lionel Bart’s songs to showcase his composing versatility from beautiful ballads to pop and infectious singalong songs.
