JAY Original Masterworks Edition recordings utilise the original book, music, lyrics and orchestrations of the musical masterworks. By recording the original version, the essence of these musical masterworks, as originally conceived by the authors and enjoyed by the public, is preserved for the new Digital era.  Often some of the most pertinent dialogue is included in the presentation to give the listener a real feel for the piece rather than just hearing the songs from the show, it is our hope that a flavour of the story come over with the completeness of the recordings.  A panasea indeed to the quick fix, jukebox listening experience we have some much these days with the advent of digital listeneing, these recordings are to sit with and savour in their entirity.
